The journey to establishing Hodag Paws Chiropractic began with a profound personal experience. After adopting a 1.25-year-old Irish Setter named Red with an autoimmune condition called Steroid Responsive Meningitis Arteritis (SRMA), Dr. Grace found herself deeply connected to the challenges faced by her beloved companion. Witnessing Red struggle with discomfort and gait irregularities due to his condition became a powerful catalyst for change.

Driven by a desire to alleviate Red’s suffering, Dr. Grace sought out the expertise of a colleague certified in animal chiropractic. The transformative effects of chiropractic adjustments on Red’s comfort level and gait patterns were nothing short of remarkable. This firsthand experience became a pivotal moment, reinforcing Dr. Grace’s conviction in the potential of chiropractic care for animals.
Inspired by the positive impact on Red and fueled by a longstanding passion for animal well-being, Dr. Grace made the decision to dive into the world of animal chiropractic. This marked the inception of Hodag Paws Chiropractic, a haven for animals in need of specialized care to enhance their overall health and vitality.
Dr. Grace brings to Hodag Paws Chiropractic a wealth of knowledge, a compassionate heart, and a genuine love for animals, providing expert chiropractic services. Dr. Grace holds a certification from CVSMT (Certified Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Therapist), a program consisting of 226 hours of class time and numerous tests covering anatomy, neurology and technique. It’s important to note that only licensed Veterinarians and Chiropractors can complete this rigorous program.
